Derek Truong, Editor
Derek Truong is a junior at Yorba Linda High School. In his third year with The Wrangler, Derek serves as an editor overseeing badges while also contributing as a photojournalist. He turns to journalism as a creative outlet and values the importance of shining light on stories. Derek is involved in several programs at school, such as men’s soccer, Red Cross, NHS, CSF, and PTSA. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, traveling, and playing with his dog. Derek is excited to write for The Wrangler and anticipates a great year ahead.
