Seemingly Harmless – Seemingly Ranch

Taylor Swift’s “Seemingly Ranch” takes over the internet.

Taylor Swift makes her impact yet again! The popular singer, songwriter, and America’s Sweetheart creates her own condiment – ‘Seemingly Ranch.’

Taylor was spotted at a Chiefs game eating chicken tenders, dipping them in both a combination of ketchup and ranch. Soon after, @tswifterastour tweeted out a picture of Taylor and a fan and Taylor’s food captioning it “Taylor was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch.” The mystery white sauce that Taylor was dipping her chicken in quickly went viral. This tweet now has 33 MILLION views! Many jokes and memes were created on the situation but it led to many big brands taking the creation and playing it to their advantage.

The company Heinz decided to take measures into their own hands and capitalize on Taylor’s popularity by creating Seemingly Ranch. Seemingly Ranch is a mixture of ketchup and ranch. This simple but “fascinating” mixture is all over the internet.

Heinz made an Instagram post with their new Seemingly Ranch product captioning it, “It’s a new era for Heinz. Introducing ketchup and Seemingly Ranch Limited Edition bottles coming soon #SeeminglyRanch #ItHasToBeHeinz.”

Taylor Swift even said in an old interview with Vogue that if she could eat anything every day if calories didn’t count it would be “chicken tenders!” There is no better way to pair your chicken tenders than with Seemingly Ranch.

McDonald’s even took a stab at profiting off of America’s Sweetheart by promoting free delivery and saying “Seemingly Ranch, Definitely Nuggets – Dip into Football w/ $0 Delivery Fee.”

Doritos reached out by wishing Travis Kelce a happy birthday on Twitter with a photo of a custom Cool Ranch Dorito chip bag with Kelce’s face captioning it, “Have a seemingly COOL RANCH birthday, @tkelce! Just in time for these new @Xbox #Maden24 bags to hit the stores to celebrate.”

Lays even tweeted a photo of a fake Seemingly Ranch flavor of chips captioning it “In our Seemingly Ranch era. #fakeflavor.” One student, Sarah Richey (12), says “I saw all the posts about Taylor’s ranch and they made me laugh. I like looking at all the funny things brands are creating.”

I saw all the posts about Taylor’s ranch and they made me laugh. I like looking at all the funny things brands are creating.

Perhaps even more surprisingly, the Empire State Building got in on the action by lighting up the building ketchup red and seemingly ranch white in the night sky.

Multiple brands are having harmless fun and playing out this little joke. It’s crazy how someone simply snacking at a football game can turn into a nationwide conversation. Everyone is finding humor and joy in the situation and it serves as a nice reminder to take things easy in this serious world. Make the most of what you have and make every day “seemingly” better.

Very well written article, and seeing posts about Taylor’s ranch was really funny. I liked how Heinz incorporated her sauce into their brand.
