Different brands, collections, and influencers play a big role in what people choose to wear and revolve their style around.  With new seasons, come new wardrobe staples and outfits, and this season is no different. Maximalism seems to be inspiring people from every style, since going all out for outfits appears to be making a comeback.

These 2025 fall fashion aesthetics and attire are getting lots of attention and will continue to make a mark on the fashion world. From the mall to online websites, everywhere you go the same patterns seem to follow. Speaking of patterns, fashion appears to never escape the animal prints, and this fall is no exception. Although it is nothing new, the attention that prints, like cheetah print, receive ensure it to keep appearing in new collections and to continue making a statement in the fashion world.

A newer trend that has been catching a lot of attention is the incorporation of belts. Adding a belt to a basic outfit is an easy and quick way to elevate it. In some cases, extravagant belts even end up being the whole outfit, having different layers and add-ons, like studs.

Student Miali Riggio (12), who follows fashion closely, believes that “belts will definitely be in style this season, along with the color brown and knee-high boots.” Surely, these trends are already big hits in the industry. As mentioned, the color brown is the color of the year, and according to the fashion empire Vogue, “From caramel to espresso, designers embraced the full spectrum of this autumnal hue across accessories, tailoring, and outerwear.” Whichever shade of brown it might be, it is certain that it will be a hit. Fashion statements make their way across the Yorba Linda campus, captivating the different styles students have and highlighting their creativity.

Another student, Mckenzi Reiter (12), shares about her favorite fall shoe, saying, “My favorite fall trend is Uggs because they are stylish but also keep you warm during the cold weather.” From classic chestnut boots to comfortable fuzzy slippers, Uggs can be spotted everywhere this season.

Finally, the last fashion trend you cannot escape from seeing is polka dots! Polka dots seem to be making their mark, as they sneak into everyone’s wardrobe. From a statement dress to a casual top, to hair accessories, this pattern keeps showing up, proving that a classic print never goes out of style.

All in all, this fall of 2025 is expected to be a monumental era in the fashion world. The expectations are high, as is creativity, setting the scene for designers and brands to create pieces everyone will love and be dying to wear. As the season changes, and trends are on the rise, it is clear that this season will be anything but boring.
