On April 22, 2025, we celebrated 4 seniors who have showcased their hard work throughout the whole season! After the tough and physical battle against Esperanza the Mustangs celebrated the win with their senior night ceremony. After we met with captains: Parker Stralka (11) and Jack Vento (12) it is apparent this team has accomplished so much this season, and sophomore Gavin Smith (10) has had a huge impact on this team success this season as an underclassmen. Congrats on another great season Mustangs!

Chloe Chang, Editor
Chloe Chang is a senior at YLHS; as she heads into her second year in the newspaper, she is excited to be an editor and help plan the post-game press conferences. She is currently a part of the YLHS Women’s Varsity Basketball team. In her free time, she likes to work out, hang out with friends, and go to the beach. Besides newspaper and basketball, she is a part of PTSA, Link Crew, and President of CALL Club. She is excited to enter her last year of high school and make many more memories with friends.
Journey Mou, Editor
Journey Mou is a junior at Yorba Linda High School. This will be her third year in newspaper, and she was promoted to editor. She is also on the school’s women’s basketball and lacrosse teams. Outside of school, Journey enjoys the art of trying to draw and listening to music. Though she doesn’t know what the future will bring, Journey is excited for whatever comes her way.
Giana Mejia, Editor-In-Chief
Giana Mejia is a senior at Yorba Linda High School. This will be her third year in the program but her first year as editor-in-chief. She loves any sport, but her favorite is definitely basketball. For her senior year, she hopes to make many memories and meet new people. Giana is very excited to be part of The Wrangler and work with everyone!
