The Egyptian pyramids, particularly the Great Pyramid of Giza, have always been a phenomenon and a symbol of human creativity for thousands of years. While historians and archaeologists say that Egyptians built these pyramids using simple tools along with many workers, certain conspiracy theories beg to differ.

One of the most popular conspiracy theories says that extraterrestrial beings were involved in the construction of the pyramids. Parts of this idea argue that the precision with which the stones are formed and aligned along with their immense size would not have been possible for humans, especially ancient, to use such tools. According to this theory, “alien-like” beings may have provided advanced technology or directly stepped in in helping to achieve this task that is beyond a human’s capability. Supporters of this bizarre theory tend to point to ancient texts and carvings as evidence, seeing them as visited by aliens; however, due to the lack of evidence, critics deny this claim.

Another interesting theory suggests that the Egyptians who built the pyramids had access to advanced technologies, that have been lost in history. These tools are said to include machinery capable of lifting and accurately cutting giant stones. Followers of this theory attest that the tools and techniques mentioned in historical records seem too simple and effortless to be accounted for such a project. This theory also connects with bigger ideas about forgotten civilizations that have only left traces of their creations and achievements. 

There are also theories that say the construction of the pyramids involved some kind of workforce that was not entirely human. Some theorize that the builders could have been giants, which is a concept revolving around myths and biblical interpretations. Others claim that the builders may have owned remarkable physical strength and endurance due to uncertain evidence, such as genetic malfunctions or spiritual procedures. 

Additionally, another theory involves the use of sound or vibrational energy that was used to move the massive stones into place. This theory says that the ancient Egyptians were believed to have gotten their hands on acoustic frequencies or vibrations to levitate or reduce the weight of the stone. Though this concept is rooted in fringe science, ideas outside traditional science, and lacks evidence, it has gained popularity for its creative aspect on this mystery.

Student, Calista Nguyen (11), shares her thoughts on these theories: “It is very fascinating how many different theories surround this mystery. Even if aliens didn’t help build the pyramids, they remind society how important it is to understand ancient cultures.”

These theories continue to evolve every day and highlight the ongoing fascination revolving around the pyramids. Whether built by aliens, giant humans, or aided by supernatural forces, these buildings remain a historical inquiry.
