The critics have spoken and the reviews are in, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is receiving great praise.

After Marvel’s latest releases, fans have been somewhat disappointed. Thor: Love and Thunder was a bit of a miss with Marvel lovers around the world. Some said that the movie was not what they were expecting and how hard the studio tried to make the audience like it but failed. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also was a let down to some fans. The film received a 47% on Rotten Tomatoes and some underwhelming reviews by the audience. However, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 seems to be leaving a better taste in people’s mouths.

One of the best things about the Guardians of the Galaxy movies is definitely the outstanding soundtrack! Each volume of “The Awesome Mix” is packed full of absolute works of art. Each song is hand picked and fits just perfectly into the films. The soundtracks are very iconic. In fact, they give the “older” songs a new revival with each generation that listens to them. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is no exception! This “Awesome Mix” includes tracks such as:

“Creep (acoustic version)” by Radiohead, “Crazy on You” by Heart, “Since You Been Gone” by Rainbow, “In the Meantime” by Spacehog, “Reasons” by Earth, Wind & Fire, “Do You Realize??” by The Flaming Lips, “We Care A Lot” by Faith No More, “Koinu No Carnival” by EHAMIC, “I’m Always Chasing Rainbows” by Alice Cooper, “San Francisco” by The Mowgli’s, “Poor Girl” by X, “This Is the Day” by The The, “No Sleep Till Brooklyn by Beastie Boys, Dog Days Are Over” by Florence + The Machine, “Badlands” by Bruce Springsteen, “I Will Dare” by The Replacements, and “Come and Get Your Love” by Redbone. One student, Rylee Dee (11), says “I always loved the soundtracks for both Guardians movies. This one looks super cool as well!” This playlist is sure to make an impact on the audience and bring back nostalgia.

Movie goers took to the internet to voice their opinions on the film:

“Marvel is getting a much needed win. The man behind it is heading to DC to kick-start their new era, meaning “everyone wins” (Irishmonkey84).

“what to take away from the first gotg3 reactions:

-it is the best since ‘endgame,’ top 3 mcu
-it is more dark and brutal than you may expect
-very emotional
-just as good as the first two, if not a little better
-it’s a great sendoff for the guardians” (quandrewg).

“A brilliant end to a brilliant trilogy” (Ian Sandwell).

“'[Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3′] is, more than ever, Star Wars as a stoner comedy. Lovable weirdos, big Marvel action and goofy jokes. But nothing can prepare you for all the emotions. Rocket Raccoon’s origin story is beautiful and heart-wrenching” (Alexander Kardelo).

Make sure to go watch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in theaters and see for yourself how extraordinary it is!
