Forbes has been presenting their third annual 30 Under 30, which is a tally of the brightest stars in 15 different fields under the age of 30. The youth has an advantage in today’s world of ambition. These people have goals that are way bigger than just a founder, brand builder, do-gooder, or funders.

 

From Art and Style to Retailing and Commerce, many young people have worked their way up and have found recognition for what they are doing.

 

At age 28, Rachel Haurwitz realized that Cas9, a protein used to destroy viruses, can be used for drug development, crop creation, and industry. She is a cofounder of a company that licenses Cas9.

 

Michael Buckwald and David Holz, who are both 25, are the cofounders of Leap Motion. Leap Motion makes 3-D motion controlled devices that can change the way humans interact with their computers. Holz, a former NASA consultant, and Buckwald, a serial entrepreneur, started shipping their devices in July.
Cofounders of Panorama Education, Aaron Feuer, Xan Tanner, and David Carel’s company became one of the most popular ed tech startups of the after Mark Zuckerberg funded them $4 million. It is designed for K-12 schools to help  find data-driven solutions by collecting and analyzing feedback from teachers, parents, students and staff. More than 4,000 schools are using it and serving more than one million students, with clients such as the Los Angeles Unified School District and Connecticut State DOE.
At 21, Neha Kinariwalla is the founder of the Humanology Project. It is a non-profit affiliated with Stony Brook University in the State of New York and was founded in 2013 by Kinariwalla. People can blog about their experiences of being sick. Medical journals are translated into reader-friendly blog posts through a student run multi-author blog, and provide an interactive support forum giving other readers unique insight into the world of illness.
These people show how much we can accomplish if we set our minds to something and achieve our goals. Every action we take leads to something so why not have it lead to something powerful that can change the way we live.
