In the very popular reality television series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Bruce Jenner is the prominent male figure in a large family of 5 girls and 1 boy. However, after he and Kris Jenner (the mom) divorced, he informed the public of his gender change. No more Bruce, here comes Caitlyn!
Jenner discussed her decision to become a woman on a television broadcast in April that drew approximately 17 million watchers.
A former Olympian, a dad, and a reality show star, Bruce Jenner is now no more. As of Monday, Vanity Fair released its new cover: Caitlyn Jenner, via Twitter. According to Lisa Respers France of CNN, the photographer Annie Leibovitz “shot the first images of Jenner in her Malibu home for the upcoming issue. The photos accompany an article written by “Friday Night Lights” author Buzz Bissinger.”
In an interview conducted by Bissinger, Jenner explains that “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.'”
Caitlyn Jenner’s photos gained worldwide popularity as soon as it was published. At 65 years old, “Bruce Jenner” had been a Playgirl cover, a published writer, a television star, and now “Caitlyn Jenner” is a woman. Jenner will be starring in a new reality show on the E! network, starting in July.
As of her name? Why not “K” like all the other Kardashian members? She chose Caitlin with a “c” instead of a “k”
In the interview, Bissinger stated that “[Jenner] made a list of names, had a close friend make a list of names. Caitlyn was on both and folks it’s Caitlyn with a C.”Despite the significant change, all of Jenner’s children will be attending the ESPY Awards where Caitlyn will be receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. This award ceremony will be taking place on July 15.
Many people in the public are supporting Caitlyn’s decision to embrace her female transition. Senior Fernando Cardenas states, “I think the Bruce Jenner has the right to become Caitlyn if she really wants to be her. The important part is just being happy, and if he’s happy then so be it!”
After being in the spotlight for so many years, Bruce Jenner has stepped down. Yet, with her new, upcoming reality show and much gained popularity, Caitlyn Jenner seems to have a lot of potential for the world to appreciate.
