One of Disney+’s most popular shows is back and better than ever! The Mandalorian season 3 is now on the streaming platform. The first episode of the show was launched on March 1st, 2023!

Fans could not be happier to be joining the adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu in a galaxy far far away once again. Viewers have been eager to see the latest installment of the show since season 2, which came out in October of 2020! That season sure ended with a giant bang! The season finally showed Luke Skywalker rescuing the characters in an epic lightsaber fight, leaving fans in total shock and disarray. This episode was breathtaking to say the least. One student Ryan Gary (11) says “I really enjoyed the last two seasons! I couldn’t wait for this one.” Needless to say, fans could not be more excited to see what Star Wars had to offer in the new season of The Mandalorian.

I really enjoyed the last two seasons! I couldn’t wait for this one.

The Mandalorian made a guest appearance in the fifth chapter of The Book Of Boba Fett titled “The Return of the Mandalorian.” This episode was one of the most watched of the whole series. The bounty hunter’s entrance into the show sent shivers up spines and goosebumps up arms. His signature theme music has become one of the most legendary themes of any Star Wars character. The famous composer Ludwig Göransson worked his magic again while creating his music for The Mandalorian. The award winning composer is also known for some of his other works including “Black Panther, the Creed films, Venom, Fruitvale Station, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Turning Red, New Girl, Community, Top Five, Central Intelligence, 30 Minutes or Less and Tenet” (IMDB).

The first of eight episodes was released this Wednesday! The episode was light, fun, and perfectly set up the season that is yet to come. “Watching “The Apostate,” the third-season premiere of The Mandalorian, it’s easy to feel a little unstuck in time. The episode opens with the Armorer (Emily Swallow) methodically forging a new helmet, a process that, from all appearances, seems to be unchanged since time unknown. These Mandalorians are sticklers for tradition, though, as a character will remind us later, not everyone interprets tradition the same way. Helmet forged, she emerges from a cave to join the others on a lakeside beach in the middle of an otherwise desolate landscape, where she prepares, with great pomp and ceremony complete with drums and banners, to bestow the helmet on a somber-looking dark-haired kid. This could be a flashback to a previously unseen chapter in Din Djarin’s origin story” (VULTURE).

This episode felt well placed, well thought out, not too much and not too little, and was paced well. It got messages across and reminded viewers of what happened in the past two seasons. Chapter 17 left a good taste in fans’ mouths. The episode ended with the audience wanting more and aching for more of the father-son, Mando-Grogu duo! Make sure to watch the next episode on Disney+ on March 8th!
