Considered one of the best quarterbacks of all time, Tom Brady has broken numerous records. He has led the NFL in career passing yards, touchdown passes, and is the only player to have won more than five Super Bowls and be named the Super Bowl MVP five times. The former player of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won a total of seven Super Bowls, one with the Buccaneers and six with the New England Patriots. Over Brady’s 23 year professional football career, he has spent nine years with the Patriots and three years with the Buccaneers. 

Tom Brady is the first person eligible for the Hall of Fame’s class of 2028. He has had a massive impact on football, especially the two teams he has played on. When on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he raised the standard which elevated the Tampa Bay organization as a whole. With the Patriots, Tom Brady grew to become the famed player he is now. The Patriots owner said, “I don’t ever believe in the 100-year-old history of the NFL, there’s been a quarterback of Tom’s ilk,” (ESPN). Brady has been a key player for the two teams he played with, defeating renowned NFL teams like the Oakland Raiders and the Miami Dolphins. Throughout his career, Tom Brady has provided memories to many, whether they be a die-hard Brady fan or a Brady-hater.

This decision is said to have influenced the divorce between his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen (People).
