Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network are all very well-known for their popular TV shows, but which one is the best? All of these networks developed many memorable shows. Nickelodeon and Disney have introduced many well known celebrities to acting and singing as well.

Disney Channel has had countless impactful shows that are still watched by many today, including Hannah Montana, Lizzie McGuire, Wizards of Waverly Place, Phineas and Ferb, Jessie, and more.—not to mention movies such as Toy Story, Cars, all the princess movies, and many more. Disney Channel also has several different channels as additions to the original, such as Disney XD and Disney Junior. A major contributor to Disney’s popularity  is how they introduce actors and actresses to its audience, including Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Zendaya.

Disneyland and Walt Disney World further allowed for different toys of characters from these shows and movies to be sold and become more popular. Due to the popularity of different characters and shows, many spin-offs or crossovers made Disney Channel so memorable.

Nickelodeon has created success through its different channels that make it appealing to all ages, such as Teen Nick and Nick Jr. Nickelodeon has also created many iconic shows that have lasted decades. This includes Rugrats, Spongebob, and Fairly Odd Parents. The channel has also had plenty of success on TeenNick with Zoey101, Victorious, iCarly, The Amanda Show, and Drake and Josh. These shows also grew in popularity and developed crossover shows and spin-offs, such as Sam and Cat. Two major stars that came from Nickelodeon are Ariana Grande and Ryan Renolds.

Cartoon Network is an unforgettable channel that included a programming block called Boomerang, which is still a major part of the channel today. Some of the shows come from over 50 years ago and are still very popular today. Memorable shows from Boomerang include, Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo Where Are You?, and Looney Toons. Later, Cartoon Network came out and developed many shows, such as Codename: Kids Next Door, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Kids, Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Steven Universe. They also were the home of The Powerpuff Girls, Amazing World of Gumball, and Teen Titans Go.

All of these networks have produced some of the best shows and some of the most popular celebrities. They all have some things in common, including their different channels. This is a major part of their success because their channels allow for them to be appealing to all ages. Scarlett Jones (10) shares her thoughts on her favorite channel, sharing, “Cartoon Network is my favorite all the way because it gives you unfiltered humor, instead of the more kid-like things on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon.” So which is your favorite, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network?
