Yorba Linda High School has many successful programs. From football, to soccer, to volleyball, many sports are recognized as great. One program at Yorba Linda High School has made their comeback this year after being in the dark for nearly two years due to Covid-19. From the nights of December 2nd to December 4th, Yorba Linda Dance Company put on their show ‘Face to Face’ with a packed audience each and every night. The passion and talent that was displayed shows how committed the dancers in Dance Company are. 

The performers put in hours of work to make the show perfect and it is safe to say that the show was indeed astounding. “It was an amazing performance by all of the dancers. It was very passionate and there was a lot of talent among everyone. I can’t wait to see what Dance Co. has prepared next. I am definitely going to be going to more of their performances in the future,” shares Mylie Brown (9).

Dance Company beautifully put together the show, ‘Face to Face’ and filled it with personally upbeat songs, neon lights, fun costumes, spectacularly choreographed solos, group performances, and infinite amounts of talent. “The dance concert was extraordinary and I believe that the amount of work that these girls put into this concert really showed throughout the show,” Natalie Neal (11). The performers should be and are very proud of themselves. This group of dancers has a strong bond with one another and work seamlessly together to put on incredible shows time after time again. 

“I’m so excited to be back and performing on stage. It was the best time ever and I am so excited to see what the future has in store,” Hayden Lee (10) shares. ‘Face to Face’ was just the first of many dances to come, and she, along with the rest of her fellow dancers are excited to put on more shows that show off more of what Dance Co. is all about.

Dance company is excited to be back and better than before. Many students, parents, and teachers are looking forward to attending more shows in the forum. Be sure to keep a look out for future events that take place at Yorba Linda High  School in regards to Dance Company. It is encouraged that everyone comes out and supports our school programs and our student body, both of which include Yorba Linda High School’s Dance Company.
