Valentine’s Date Night In OC

Valentine’s Day is always fun, whether you are spending time with your best friends or significant other.

Valentine’s Day. The one day of the year completely dedicated to celebrating love and affection for those around you. Whether you are spending Valentine’s day with a significant other or with your best friends, here are some of the best places to have an amazing night!

Instead of spending your night home alone, there are many fun and modern activities throughout Orange County to spend with your friends. Color me mine, a painting studio located in Brea, allows groups to choose a ceramic item and paint it. When you are done painting, Color me mine adds the finishing touches and lets you pick up your finished masterpiece in seven days, allowing yourself to express your creativity. Another fun idea is Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach. There are a variety of different shops and eateries, such as Malibu Farms, a fun and trendy place with amazing food. Lido Marina Village is a great place to take photos with friends and spend quality time together. Sunny Cheng (11) plans on spending Valentine’s Day with her besties, heading to Newport to eat some amazing food and watch the sunset, “Valentine’s Day is fun no matter who you are with. I am so excited for this day and sharing it with my friends.”

Next, here are some fun ideas for day time activities on Valentine’s Day. Located in the heart of Orange, The Orange Circle, is filled with many fun activities. From a perfect picture location to tons of unique thrift stores, The Orange Circle can keep you occupied for hours on end, no matter who you are with. There are a variety of food options here, such as burgers and a shake at Watson’s, or pizza from Blaze. Another fun idea is heading to the beach, such as Huntington Beach. In Huntington, main street is filled with little boutiques and interesting food. Pacific City in Huntington has many mainstream shops as well as many foods that range from mac and cheese at Lemonade to coffee at Philz. Not only is Pacific City an amazing place to watch the sunset, but is also less than a five minute walk from the beach, a perfect place to have a picnic after picking up food from Pacfic City.

For a night with your significant other, a multitude of different places will keep you occupied all night long. Orange Hill Restaurant, located on Chapman, creates a romantic ambience, with an amazing view of Orange County and delicious food too. For a more casual date, Downtown Disney is a great place to stroll, watching the fireworks with ice cream from Salt & Straw or window shopping from the tons of different stores here. If you and your significant other are planning on staying at home, just watching a movie and ordering a heart shaped pizza from Porky’s Pizza is a great way to spend your night.

Orange County is filled with an abundance of different activities and restaurants for this special night. Valentine’s day is not just for couples, and there are so many different places to visit and celebrate those in your life who you love.
