There is no doubt that spring is one of the most beautiful seasons of the year, from it’s gorgeous flowers and plants to the perfect balance of warm and cool weather that comes with it. This season always manages to give people a nice warm feeling inside, perhaps from all the joy and color it brings along with it.
During this wonderful season, many scenic stops in California are at their peak. Places such as San Diego and Yosemite National Park are bursting with color and lovely weather, and they offer an abundance of beautiful sights to see. With that being said, here are some cities in California to visit this spring.
Catalina Island has always been a go-to spot for many people from all over the country. In the spring, the island is usually not crowded and the weather is not too hot or cold. With its inviting, crystal clear waters and unique wildlife, Catalina Island is a great place to try new things. A few common activities on the island include scuba diving and snorkeling, as well as boat tours that allow for a closer look at the sealife. “I would love to visit Catalina Island,” says Megan Tsou (10). “I’ve never been, but it sounds beautiful.”

Another city to visit this spring is San Diego, which is commonly known for its nightlife as well as the San Diego Zoo. In the spring, it is a bit more on the chilly side, but nonetheless it is the perfect place to visit if you are looking for some fun. One of the city’s main attractions is Balboa Park, and the beautiful scenery never fails to impress anyone.
Last but not least is Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is a great choice for you if you enjoy hiking and nature walks. Famed for its giant, ancient sequoia trees, the national park is home to large waterfalls and stunning forests, and it remains snowy from May to June. Activities such as rafting, biking, and hiking are enjoyable throughout the entire year in this park.
These are just a few places to visit this spring. While California offers many other attractions, these are some of the state’s best.
